This is the fourth year Gareth and I have spent the day wandering around the outskirts of the Sydney Mardi Gras taking photos. It's always a fantastic day, such a good vibe, everyone is happy and it is one of the rare moments in Sydney when it feels completely acceptable to start a conversation with a stranger. There was a little drizzle early in the day, but it didn't dampen anybodies spirit - the festival was as fabulous as ever.
I feel like it gets a little harder to photograph each year, as we try harder to get something that feels different from the previous years. But that is part of the fun really. Happy Mardi Gras!
